Advantages and Disadvantages of SCAD

Many people apply to study in Savannah College Art and Design because it is a good art and design school in the U.S. I am the one of the students who studies in SCAD. Although SCAD is a very nice study environment, it still has some defect. I would like to talk about several advantages and disadvantages about SCAD, such as tuition, qualities of school, many kinds of major, security issues, campus and conveniences.

First of all, tuition, qualities of school and many kinds of major are three advantages of SCAD. The tuition of SCAD are low than the others art and design school in the U.S. For example, if you went to study in California College of the Arts, you will pay double tuition than SCAD. Second, there are very good qualities of SCAD, because school renew equipments every year, and one of the class students number never over 15 people. Also, professor of SCAD are very knowledgeable and professional. Third, SCAD has more than 23 majors include large part of art and design majors. SCAD students can learn many different kinds of art or design, and meet the others art field people in school. It is very important if you can meet many friends who have similar background with you.

However SCAD has so many advantages, it still has some disadvantages such as security issues, campus and conveniences. First, security issues are the very serious problem in Savannah. If you want to study in SCAD, you should take care yourself every moment. It is very dangerous when you walk alone on the street in the night time. Make sure that you walk in the right place. There are some danger zones in Savannah even in the day time. And, campus of SCAD is spread out in Savannah downtown. You can see many visitors, pedestrians, workers, and strange guys on your way to school. It always takes a lot of time for students change their classroom to the other buildings. Even Savannah is not a small town, it still is not so convenient as some big cities. When you went to go to some place for shopping, you just have few choices. There is no Costco in Savannah.

In my opinion, it is not easy to find a perfect school. For me, I think SCAD is a very nice school. I enjoy my study and life here.

Build a Bear

但是跟美國比起來價格卻不便宜
（美國跟台灣的價差約有30％）
是"很心意"的布偶娃娃
